URIs to Ping

The following services will automatically be pinged/notified when you publish normal or future timestamped posts. Not when you edit previously published posts, as WordPress does by default.

This plugin also fixes an issue with the default extended ping programming in Wordpress and pre-2.1 versions of Smart Update Pinger (it now includes the url of the new post).

NB: this list is synchronized with the original update services list.

Separate multiple service URIs with line breaks:

Ping log

These are the last 100 actions performed by the plugin. In reverse chronological order for easier reading (latest ping first).

Ben Wilson teach us to ride barrelled

Posted by kite2012 On April - 11 - 2012

I think Ben Wilson’s educational videos are great! First of all, Ben is talking with an Australian dialect that is something extra! Just listening to this guy talking is joyful :) The fact that Ben then makes a excellent teacher doesn’t make things worse! In this video, Ben is teaching us how to ride barrelled on your backhand. Many of us have never even tried wave surfing me included, but I really wonder what it feels like to ride a barrell and I´ll keep this video in mind in case I end up in a big fucking tube :)

Unhook is another educational video from Ben Wilson. If you’re about to start ride unhooked, then this video is a must see!

Wavesurfing in Maui

Posted by kite2012 On April - 10 - 2012

You might have heard of something called “The Jaws” in Maui. The Jaws is of course the name for the giant waves that break along the shoreline at Maui. You really need some balls to ride into the jaws, which probably explain why you never see any girls riding into the Jaws. Niccolo Porcella is a guy with balls and one of few that does not bail out for the Jaws!

Karolina Winkowska in South Africa 2012

Posted by kite2012 On March - 22 - 2012

Karolina Winkowska injured her ankle in Brazil and was forced to spend a whole long winter to rehabilitation. Good news is that she has come back, stronger and better than ever! Injures are common among professional kite riders, just look at Youri Zoon, Ruben Lenten and now Aaron Hadlow. The constant risk of hurting yourself when you’re kitekurfing can hold you back in your progression, but remeber this! Bones Heal, Chicks Dig Scars, Pain is Temporary, Glory is Forever!

One of the best kite videos in a long time

Posted by kite2012 On March - 16 - 2012

Rui Silva has just taken home made edited kitesurfing videos to a whole new level. Fine Cut and other video editors are simply not enough to make a master video like this one! This video with Rui Silva in Vietnam has a perfect mix of action, humor, mystery, music and art. I´m not saying that it´s impossible to make a better video, but not easy =)
