URIs to Ping
The following services will automatically be pinged/notified when you publish normal or future timestamped posts. Not when you edit previously published posts, as WordPress does by default.
This plugin also fixes an issue with the default extended ping programming in Wordpress and pre-2.1 versions of Smart Update Pinger (it now includes the url of the new post).
NB: this list is synchronized with the original update services list.
These are the last 100 actions performed by the plugin. In reverse chronological order for easier reading (latest ping first).
Toby Braeuer is probably the one man in this world that best can describe what Airstyle really is. Airstyle, also known as old school, is a kiteboarding style that has been overlooked behind freestyle and wakestyle. It seems like the forgotten airstyle is about to become popular again, which I think many of us old tarts will appreciate =)
This video btw is pretty awesome! The tricks that Toby pulls of are just insane!
Here is a nice clip from South Africa. Forward the video to 05:45 and you´ll see that these guys have found a kite spot that looks amazing! The darkslide at 06:30 is probably the smoothest darkslide I ever seen on a video, that’s what you can call riding with style!
Ben Wilson is not just a skilled kite and wavesurfer, but an excellent teacher! Here is another educational video from Ben Wilson. Watch and learn!
Ben Wilson is in my opinion one of the most educational guys when it comes to explaing how to perfomr different kiteboarding and surfing tricks. In this video is Ben gexplaining how to do an unstrapped backroll with a surfboard.
I think Ben Wilson’s educational videos are great! First of all, Ben is talking with an Australian dialect that is something extra! Just listening to this guy talking is joyful :) The fact that Ben then makes a excellent teacher doesn’t make things worse! In this video, Ben is teaching us how to ride barrelled on your backhand. Many of us have never even tried wave surfing me included, but I really wonder what it feels like to ride a barrell and I´ll keep this video in mind in case I end up in a big fucking tube :)
Unhook is another educational video from Ben Wilson. If you’re about to start ride unhooked, then this video is a must see!
Sam Medysky is one of Best’s teamrider. He´s pretty good at throwing kiteloops! In this video is Sam explaining to us how to do a kiteloop.
A Kite loop is one of the tricks that many kitesurfers dream of being able to do. A kite loop is associated with loads of power and it sure looks awe when someone is nailing a massive kite loop, no wonder every kitesurfer wants to learn this trick!
But something is holding you back… fear. The fear of being smashed face down in the water, the fear of busting your knees or fear of not being able to commit the kite loop is for sure deterrent for most of us.
So how on earth do you learn to make a kite loop? Do you just jump as high as possible, yank the bar, say a prayer and hope that you’ll come out in one piece? This is one option, but what is much smarter is to start practise kite loops in a safe manner, and how do you do that? Look at this highly educational video and you might soon have your first kite loop session!
Luis’s Peralta is a kiteboarder from Cabarete that you don’t hear so much from in the kite world. However, Luis is a great kiteboarder that really deserves some credit, just look at his crazy triple handle pass in this video!
Are you in progress where it’s time to unhook? Or have you already tried unhooking but feel uncomfortable? No matter what, Ben Wilson gives you a great lesson in how to unhook and how to overcome any fear that you might have about unhooking! This is a really good educational video!
The competition among kite manufacturers is becoming stronger and stronger. Cabrinha is still the biggest of them all, but they are forced to push their marketing to another level. A new weapon is their team rider Alby Rondina, here teaching us how to make a perfect back mobe and of course riding with Cabrinhas new Drifter and Nomad.
