Liquid Force’s Team Rider Manuela jungo is out with a new video from her latest trip to Barra Nova in Brazil. Manuela is originally from Switzerland where she decided to quit her job as a brand manager, just to be able to go fully with kitesurfing. Obviously, she managed to become really good at it!

A windy day in Boracay
This post is dedicated to kitesurfing. It´s been some sunny and windy days in Boracay and my camera is full of pictures from the kite beach in Boracay. Hope you enjoy this little “kite album” and the movie I made for you :)
Lots of “famous” kiteboarders visit Boracay to kite. Mikael Blomwall, Toby from kiteforum.com, Susa Mai just to mention a few that has been here recently. Toby is currently filming for his coming Airstyle DVD.
Here is the video. Unfortunately I didn’t managed to remove the noise from the wind and I have no GoPro, so don’t expect to much :P At least the music is good, in case you like Nine Inch Nails :)

Best KiteSurfing Video 2012
This is by far one of the best kitesurfing videos for 2012. Great music, nice editing, good variety (not just 9 minutes of unhooked handle passes) and the spots where these guys are kiting looks absolutely amazing! If you ever plan to make a kitesurfing video, use this video as a template and your video will become a success!

Boracay Day 4 – Recovered
It seems like the bad stomach is gone! First thing I did this morning was to go to Starbucks to have a cup of real coffee. The price for a cup of coffee at Starbucks is about 4 times more expensive than the cups you can buy at the local cafés, but you also get what you pay for… Besides Starbucks has WiFi and air condition which weigh up their shameless coffee prices =)
After lunch, Japs, the guy that works at Frency Hotels brought me to a place on Boracay were they have monkeys, moreover the highest mountain on Boracay. Was expecting to see some wild monkeys that you could feed and play with, but all there was were some poor monkeys in cages. They had some birds, also in cages. There were supposed to be some lizards also, but they were apperantly all dead by the time we went there. On the whole a joke if you go there to see some “wild” animals, but the view from top of the mountain was great, so this itself was worth the entrance fee on about $1,4.
The wind started picking up in the afternoon so I had kite session with my Royal Solo 12.5m kite. The philippino guy had fixed the bar that I broke the other day, what he did was just to replace the Royal bar with a Naish bar, works fine =)

Kitesurfing Trip
Is the temperature dropping below zero where you live? Did your thick wetsuit, gloves, boots, hood and double layer of thermal underwear only keep you warm for 30 minutes during your last kite session? Perhaps where you also more or less alone in the water and thought that you would die from cold when you got changed after the session? But you´re addicted and must get your fix, but how? Go on a kitesurfing trip of course! But where…?? A spot where it´s warm, windy and which you can afford to go to is all we require, right? :) Anyway, I thought I should list some good alternatives here.
- Hurghada, Egypt. This is a popular place to go. Lina Björkskog is a girl that has been and written some about Hurghada at her nice kitesurfing blog
- France. Don’t know how warm it is in France, but at least windy accoring to this video France Kitesurfing
- Prak Nam Pran, Pranburi, Thailand. For those who like Thailand, check out Kitesurfing Thailand

- Puerto Rico. Rory Callaghan can tell you about this place.
- Ponta Preta. Don’t ask me where it is, but Mitu Monteiro can tell you.
- Mue Nie, Vietnam. Check out this spot on this site Kitesurfing in Mue Nie
- Sail Melbourne. Vicky tells about kitesurfing in Sail Melbourne in her blog.
